OneBlock is a Minecraft Map for Minecraft version 1.16.3! It works in the Minecraft Java Edition.

'OneBlock is a Survival Minecraft map, where you are stranded in the void on top of a single block. But there is a twist: you can mine the block as much as you want. Can you survive?'

Installation Guide (Java 1.16.3)

This is an installation guide for OneBlock in Minecraft version 1.16.3. If you have problems installing the map, this «How to install» guide may help you out! OneBlock works in the Minecraft Java edition!

Super-Short Explanation

Basically, download the map and you get a ZIP file. Take out the folder from the downloaded ZIP file and put that folder into your Minecraft saves folder. That's it! However, if that went wrong or you need more detail, read the step-by-step guide below!

Installing in Singleplayer

  1. Download the world, and you will get a zip file in your Downloads folder.
  2. Unpack the zip file. If you do not know how, click here.
    • On Windows 10, right-click the zip file and click 'Extract all'.
    • On MacOS, double-click the file in your Finder, and it creates a folder with the name of the zip file. Open the folder, and inside, you will find another folder, which is the one that you want!
    • On Linux, you need to install unzip first by entering sudo apt install unzip in ther terminal. After that you can unzip the file using the terminal by typing unzip filename.zip!
    • If none of the above works, you can try it using the programs WinRar or 7Zip.
  3. Now you have a folder, which is the map.
    • After you have unpacked the zip file, the contents may be inside another folder! Open the folder you got and if there is another single folder inside, that is the actual map! Move that single folder outside, and use it instead!
  4. Open your Minecraft saves folder. If you do not know how, read one of the following quick guides:
    Windows, MacOS, Linux
    1. On Windows, you can do so by pressing (Windows key) + R at the same time.
    2. A window will open, and you need to enter %appdata% in the text field.
    3. The Windows explorer will open, so click on the .minecraft folder.
    4. Inside, open the saves folder, which contains all your worlds.

    2. Now type in ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft and press Enter.

    5. Should you experience problems finding certain files or folders, they may be hidden. Press Command + Shift + . to toggle the hidden status of files.

Installing in Multiplayer

  5. Upload the folder to your hosted server, or add it to your local server.

How to Fix Problems after the Installation

If the map does not work as intended, doing one of the following things may fix the problem.

  1. Check that you are using the right Minecraft version (1.16.3) and Minecraft edition (Java).
  2. If you have additional data packs installed, they may be incompatible and cause complications. Try running the map without them.
  3. If you have any mods installed, there might be complications. Run Minecraft without them and see if the problems persist.
  4. This map may not work probably on modded servers like Bukkit or Spigot.
  5. Enable command blocks in your server properties.
    • On default servers, you can do so by editing the server.properties file and set enable-command-block to true.

Just uploaded a small hotfix for the last OneBlock update. The enchanted books from the rare chests weren't working, but now they do. To receive the hotfix (if you have already added the last update), just download the map again and exchange the data pack! =) Image

Games for mac emulator. I've worked on a new OneBlock update the last two weeks, and it was released a few hours ago! 👍
Here's some of the new features:

Aaaaand the 2nd update for OneBlock is online!
If you installed the 1st update (or downloaded the map after January 7th), you can simply replace the data pack to get it!
Notes:
- added a 'blocks mined' counter
- the infinite block now spawns all horse types
- various bug fixes
