En este video vemos un diagnostico de una E250 con una 4R75 con problemas de solenoide B. Los llevo conmigo en este diagnostico explicando lo facil que puede. P0755: Shift Solenoid ‘B’ DTC Trouble Code An automatic transmission shifts gears by using hydraulic pressure to change gear ratios inside a planetary gear assembly. A solenoid is a small plunger type device that is responsible for moving valves inside the valve body so this can happen. P0755 is a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) for 'Shift Solenoid B Malfunction'. This can happen for multiple reasons and a mechanic needs to diagnose the specific cause for this code to be triggered in your situation. Description

What does this mean?

Two weeks ago while driving on the highway, the car downshifted and the check engine light came on. The engine code that appeared was 'P0700' and 'P0755'. P0755 called out the Shift Solenoid B Malfunction. Took my car to an independent mechanic and had him replace solenoid pack. P0755 Meaning Shift solenoid valve B is turned ON or OFF by the Transmission Control Module (TCM) in response to signals sent from the park/neutral position (PNP) switch, vehicle speed and Engine Control Module (ECM) (throttle opening). Gears will then be shifted to the optimum position.

OBD2 Code P0755 Jeep definition:

2. Look up the other OBD II Trouble Codes, please use the search box. Enter the 5 character trouble codes in the search box and submit the search.

3. Don’t assume a particular OBD-II code means the same for other auto manufacturers as there are many makes specific codes in use.

4. If your OBD-II trouble codes are for a different car, select that vehicle series before searching for the diagnostic codes because not all OBD2 codes used by one manufacture are used by the other makes.

The solenoid pack in these Chrysler vehicles regulates transmission oil pressure to activate the clutch packs and make the vehicle shift. The solenoid receives a pulsed signal from the PCM and the solenoid responds by opening and closing the port up to 10 times per second. This action is called “duty cycling.” So if the solenoid is open 5 times in one second, it’s at 50% duty cycle.

The PCM constantly checks the condition of the solenoid pack and reports any of the P0750, P0755, P0760, P0765 trouble codes when it finds a problem. Then it puts the vehicle into “limp in” mode so you can drive the vehicle into the shop. To confirm that the problem is actually the solenoid pack all you need is a digital multi-meter. Disconnect the electrical connector from the solenoid pack and test the resistance between pins 1 & 5, 1 & 7, and 1 & 8. The yellow/red wire goes to pin 1. All the solenoids should read 1-3 ohms. If the readings are out of range, replace the solenoid pack.
